We have delivered a couple of bespoke writing training sessions for the Science Museum in London.
We worked with the team developing the Science Museum's permanent gallery - The Information Age - the UK's first dedicated to the history of communications technology which opened in 2014. We wrote, talked, unpicked and analysed text - thinking about what worked best for their project and their audiences.
"Amongst other key strengths of the training - clear structure, time for discussion, practical application of ideas - I’d like to mention something a bit more intangible: the way Lucy was able to create a ‘safe’ environment in which we all felt comfortable about sharing our writing, offering our option about strengths and weaknesses and being self-reflective. The team came out feeling confident."
Jessica Bradford, Content Manager, 'Making Modern Communications' (project working title)
We have also delivered bespoke training days for the Contemporary Science team who produce daily web content and a busy programme of changing exhibitions in the Antenna gallery, keeping their text accurate, informative and accessible for their science-curious target audience of teens and 20-somethings.
